Mix'n'match fails with linking of WGA updates

The linking trough Mix'n'match does not work for knew IDs apparently. How shall I connect "https://www.wga.hu/html_m/m/master/marian/index.html" to Master of the Munich Marian Panels (Q22713648)? https://tools.wmflabs.org/mix-n-match/api.php?query=redirect&catalog=11&ext_id=MASTER+of+the+Munich+Marian+Panels leads me into a redirect loop, I guess because Mix'n'match doesn't know about the Master of the Munich Bavarian Panels on WGA. I'm afraid our linking through Mix'n'match fails to integrate any updates on WGA. What to do? --Marsupium (talk) 15:19, 12 September 2017 (UTC)

The current formatter URL (P1630) via Mix-n-match redirect still doesn't work. Why don't we use identifiers like z/zimmermx, instead of identifiers from MnM ("ZIMMERMANN, Carl Friedrich"), which don't seem to be associated with the site? Solidest (talk) 16:21, 1 March 2023 (UTC)

I read the proposal of this property from 2015 - and there was a reason given that it was done because some IDs lead to a page containing a list of subpages. I don't think the end justifies the means in this case. It doesn't look like the MnM redirect tool is the best way to solve this, and it doesn't look like it will be fixed any time soon. So I've replaced updated formatter to direct link on the site and replaced all the values for property on WD. Also added a new Mix-n-match catalog based on autoscraper. It doesn't track subpages tho as index list doesn't list them, but they could be added to catalogue manually if needed. Solidest (talk) 21:21, 1 March 2023 (UTC)
