    Parent peak edit

Which qualifier could be used to indicate the parent peak? criterion used (P1013) ? relative to (P2210)?

    There is now a property for this. --- Jura 09:41, 3 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Similarly, the template is whining at me for using "relative to" when OF COURSE prominence should explain what it's being measured against if it's anything more important than "that puddle over there".—LlywelynII (talk) 00:04, 15 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Why is this limited to metres? edit

Is there a reason why the units are restricted to metres? Danrok (talk) 01:29, 23 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

I would imagine the reason is to allow for comparison with all features around the world as most of the world uses the metric system while relatively few use feet for measurement. That being said, why not put both? Measurements in feet are allowed so just add that measurement in with the metric. Epolk (talk) 10:32, 4 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
