I think it should be useful to use duration (P2047) or start time (P580)/end time (P582) as qualifiers. ---xfi- (talk) 09:19, 2 February 2019 (UTC)
Currently, this property has a mandatory qualifier of (P642) to identify whether the value applies to rain or snow. of (P642) is set to be deprecated, so replacements must be found for its use cases. In this case, one possibility is to use phase of matter (P515). with values of liquid (Q11435) or solid (Q11438). Would that work? Is there another existing property that would work better? Or should a new qualifier ("precipitation type") be proposed? For context, we're talking about 32 uses at the moment. Swpb (talk) 21:14, 2 December 2022 (UTC)
