Discussion

New URL with different ID

The current links are redirected to a new URL, as shown in the following examples for Cheick Traoré (Q38164088).

French:

• https://www.ligue1.fr/joueur?id=cheick-omar-traore (new URL with different ID)

English:

• https://www.ligue1.com/joueur/traore-cheick-omar-1 (redirects to URL below)
• https://www.ligue1.com/player?id=cheick-omar-traore (new URL with different ID)

The formatter URL cannot be changed in this property because the new URLs use a different ID and do not work with the current IDs. This should not be a problem as long as the old URLs continue to redirect. -- Zyxw (talk) 11:58, 23 February 2020 (UTC)

For some IDs, the URL for the French page redirects but the URL for the English page does not, such as Pierre Njanka (Q2449599):
