It looks like this can include multiple entries so we could have both the rocket and the upper stage. However if we are limited to entities that have wikipedia articles we lose detail. For example: Kosmos 2485 has both Soyuz-2 and Fregat. However as we do not have a separate article for Soyuz-2-1b we'd lose that detail if we replaced the infobox in en:Kosmos 2485 with data from here. Secretlondon (talk) 14:59, 28 April 2013 (UTC)

  • In Russian this property named "ракета-носитель" ("ракета" is translated as rocket). Upper stage is not rocket. This is completely different type of space technique. I create new request on property proposal for upper stages. Please do not use P375 for upper stages. — Ivan A. Krestinin (talk) 22:22, 9 June 2013 (UTC)

The property importEdit

Hi, I created bot that imports this property values from launchlog. But it needs table for values conversation: User:Ivan A. Krestinin/Launches. It will be great if somebody helps me to fill missed values in the table. — Ivan A. Krestinin (talk) 17:41, 18 August 2013 (UTC)

Allowd valuesEdit

Should we extend the range of this property and also allow values of type spaceplane (Q1414565), e.g. Space Shuttle orbiter (Q1064394)? --Pasleim (talk) 11:17, 3 March 2015 (UTC)

I think Wikidata:Property proposal/Space#orbiter is better way. P375 currently specifies rocket type, not rocket instance. E. g. "Soyuz-2.1b", not "Soyuz-2.1b s/n L15000-011". But users want specify orbiter instance, not its type. E. g. "Discovery", not "Space Shuttle". — Ivan A. Krestinin (talk) 21:52, 5 March 2015 (UTC)
