Which items to use edit

When I created the property, I made two dedicated items for this property: left-handed shot, right-handed shot.

In the meantime, Stryn found right-handedness (Q3039938). This together with left-handedness (Q789447) and ambidexterity (Q457332) could be used. --  Docu  at 15:40, 14 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

I think we should also have left & right-footed shot items for soccer players. It would also be nice if we should somehow fit in "catches left/right" (for goalies)... Legoktm (talk) 16:43, 14 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
I agree.
There is now another proposal at: Wikidata:Property_proposal/Person#Handedness.
Based on what Styrn wrote, it's probably better to use different items for different ways it is expressed .. --  Docu  at 19:14, 14 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
That resulted in handedness (P552), and the discussion is archived at Wikidata:Property_proposal/Archive/7#Handedness. I like user:Tobias1984's suggestion to create a 'type of activity' qualifier to replace activity-specific properties such as this hockey one. John Vandenberg (talk) 11:20, 3 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
