Wrong constraint

@Pintoch: The current item-requires-statement constraint (Q21503247) is wrong and generates false errors. Having this ID doesn't mean that the person's position held (P39) must have member of the National Assembly of Hungary (Q17590876). Just two simple examples:

• László Székely (Q16523083): Commissioner for Fundamental Rights (Q16517044)
• Miklós Kásler (Q23925538): Minister of Human Capacities of Hungary (Q24205239)

As you can see, there are (many) non-politicians and they obviously don't have member of the National Assembly of Hungary (Q17590876). I think country of citizenship (P27) with Hungary (Q28) would be the only working constraint. Bencemac (talk) 15:49, 23 June 2018 (UTC)

I don't think that there should be too many of these, we can keep the constraint as non-mandatory, and add the exceptions. The constraint has been very useful in finding wrong imports. – Máté (talk) 20:13, 23 June 2018 (UTC)

@Máté: There are hundreds. Just take a look how many non-politician positions (where the person is not a member of the National Assembly of Hungary (Q17590876)) are available: “tisztségek”. Furthermore, you can choose other years too, which means more and more exceptions. Bencemac (talk) 07:21, 24 June 2018 (UTC)

@Bencemac: In that case it's not the matter of a constraint, but the property needs to be renamed (e.g. Hungarian civil servant ID/Parlament.hu ID/National Assembly ID), and we need to think about wether the formetter URL needs to be changed as well. In any case, the constraint can remain, but without value (the item needs to have position held (P39) with any value). – Máté (talk) 07:45, 24 June 2018 (UTC)

@Bencemac, Máté: yes that's definitely an improvement. I do think it could also be useful to be able to bring back a qualifier of item of property constraint (P2305) though. This doesn't have to be a single value; we can enumerate a variety of different offices that are acceptable (see for example the equivalent on Property:P1341#P2302). AIUI many of the positions listed at the “tisztségek” link above will only be held by people who have also been a member of the parliament, so I suspect the list of alternate positions we'd need to add to the constraint won't be overwhelming. (I don't think it's possible yet to say that the position can be a subclass of some other one, such that we might only need one or two base items, but if it's not, then perhaps we'd be able to by the time that it does become problematic!) --Oravrattas (talk) 15:39, 7 August 2018 (UTC)

Dutch label

@Romaine: Hi, Could you take a look at the label you added to this property? If I'm not mistaken, it says that the property is for MPs, however (as discussed in the section above), the ID can be also present for office-holders of the Hungarian National Assembly who are not MPs.
