A formatter URL for a query? edit

It would be cool to have the possibility to give a formatter URL for a query somehow, e.g. http://vocab.getty.edu/sparql?query=$1 for Getty Vocabulary Program (Q5554720). That value could e.g. be used for a parameter filling in the endpoint of Template:SPARQL (I've added a manual parameter to Template:SPARQL/sandbox.) Any idea if we have a property (combination) to add those formatter URLs? --Marsupium (talk) 11:58, 13 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

  • If you do a federated query from WQS, you might not need it.

    • @Jura1: That's right for the Getty Vocabulary Program. We don't have federated queries available for all SPARQL endpoints though, they might reduce performance or have shorter timeout etc. The question was meant to be more general, our template isn't the only use case … :) --Marsupium (talk) 15:19, 13 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Property for ”query service“ or ”query form“ edit

I'd like to add a qualifier for the ”query service“ or ”query form“ (if existent) to this property, but I don't know which property to use. For now, I'm using official website (P856) like this:

Wikidata (Q2013)SPARQL endpoint URL (P5305)https://query.wikidata.org/sparqlofficial website (P856)https://query.wikidata.org/

Any ideas?

BTW, the same could be useful for source code repository URL (P1324)} and similar properties: some kind of ”web application interface“—browsable source code in this case. --1914 Josef (talk) 14:25, 14 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
