Use P642 instead of P654 edit

The example,

<Oklahoma State Highway 132 (Q2174277)> terminus location (P609) <Hennessey (Q2305381)> direction relative to location (P654) <west (Q679)> (i.e. Oklahoma State Highway 132 (Q2174277) has a terminus at a point west (Q679) of Hennessey (Q2305381))

could be stated without direction relative to location (P654) by using of (P642) like this,

<Oklahoma State Highway 132 (Q2174277)> terminus location (P609) <west (Q679)> of (P642) <Hennessey (Q2305381)>.

So direction relative to location (P654) is redundant and unnecessary. --Ans (talk) 19:19, 30 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Ans: I don't think so. The value of "terminus location" (P609) should be a human settlement (Q486972) or administrative territorial entity (Q56061), while "west" (Q679) is not. And "direction relative to location" (P654) can also be a qualifier of other properties such as "located in the administrative territorial entity" (P131). It is appropriate to say that "X is located in the administrative territorial entity' (P131): Y (direction relative to location (P654): west)", not that "X is located in the administrative territorial entity (P131): west (of (P642): Y)". --Neo-Jay (talk) 19:00, 9 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
