How about using full size image instead of small thumbnail?

Small thumbnail which is the image currently registered as values for this peroperty, and shown in infobox at Wikipedia (see en:ACTN3.) This is, sorry for my poor vocabulary, meaningless image by itself, because of no captions in the image.

Full size image. Currently readers can reach this meaningful image only through the description page of the small thumbnail.

Currently, registered images for this property are small thumbnails. These small thumbnails are shown in Wikipedia infobox (e.g. see en:ACTN3) But small thumbnail image is meaningless by itself, because it has no captions in the diagram. So how about using full size image instead of small thumbnail?

Procedure is very simple. Changing value, to say image name, from ****_tn.png to ****_fs.png as follows.

P.S. I suppose this two images strategy was adopted for old Wikipedia image system (when clicking thumbnail, readers directly jumped into image description page). I think this strategy was very nice at that time. • Support change Thumbnails are never intended to be viewed. If a process is leading users to view thumbnails then something is broken. Is there any reason to not change this? Blue Rasberry (talk) 12:33, 20 March 2017 (UTC)
