The historical markers are mounted on opposite sides of a concrete pedestal near the shrine entrance gate, with the Tagalog marker facing the gate and the English marker facing the shrine. (English)

On this site was born 23 July 1864 Apolinario Mabini<br><br>Patriot, statesman, lawyer, political writer, educator. Son of Inocencio Mabini and Dionisia Maranan. Rose from poverty. Joined the Revolution becoming chief adviser of General Emilio Aguinaldo. Struck with paralysis, January, 1896. Imprisoned by the Spaniards, following October; by the Americans, 1899. Exiled to Guam, January 15, 1901; returned February 26, 1903; died in Manila, May 13, 1903. (English)
