Various German art historians and experts performed triage operations, pooling their booty for sale in Germany to Hitler, Göring, Baldur von Schirach, Schirach's father-in(law and Hitler's photographer Heinrich Hoffmann, Firtz Todt, General Karl Worlff, Governor-General of Poland Hans Frank, General Kaltenbrunner, and Reichskommissar Seyss-Inquart.
