- We can't use this item for any of the two as statements on this item as well sitelinks (dewiki, before also enwiki) and identifiers mixed the two. Once the remaining parts can be split between the two, this should be deleted, not merged.

- @Jed, Pierre gronau, Robot Monk, Omerzu, Silewe, DALIBRI: @Jesi, AndreasPraefcke, Metilsteiner, EWriter, Silewe, Hannes 24: Do you all agree with above, as you all were edited that dewiki article? --Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 11:42, 1 October 2017 (UTC)
- Sorry, I can't help. I do not understand enough English to participate in Wikidata at a discussion.
- (The “German”) Charles Henry Churchill = (the engl.) Charles Henry Spencer-Churchill (1828-1877) (Q26222216), the German article means this person. In this English article en:Charles Henry Churchill#Family connections the things getting clearer ;-). Imho (Q35770063) and (Q35770063) are the same person. bw --Hannes 24 (talk) 16:27, 1 October 2017 (UTC)
- @Hannes 24: the German articles seems to confuse two persons. Parents and wife seems to be those of someone else.
--- Jura 12:20, 10 October 2017 (UTC)- Jura why? en Charles_Henry_Spencer-Churchill = de Charles_Henry_Churchill (the picture is wrong in the German article? and the Lemma should be changed). The English en Charles_Henry_Churchill is another person. bw --Hannes 24 (talk) 17:43, 10 October 2017 (UTC)
- Ah, but then it's incorrect to state that he was consul in Syria and author of Life of Ab .. etc.

- Clerking Comment I agree with hannes 24 that this is not a reason to delete an item, those statements can be cleared when merging, no confusion will be merged, absolutely no. --117.136.55.21 17:13, 14 October 2017 (UTC)
- We can't really merge this item as it's about two different persons.
--- Jura 18:15, 14 October 2017 (UTC)- @Jura1: The keyword of this IP comment is those statements can be cleared when merging, this is what I did in my merge histories. --Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 04:32, 15 October 2017 (UTC)

- @Jura1: I've corrected de:Charles Henry Churchill and moved the article to Charles Henry Churchill (Q35770063). Imho this item can now be deleted. --Kolja21 (talk) 19:50, 12 March 2018 (UTC)
- The problem is that the identifiers conflat the two. If we delete this, they will end up on one of the other items.
--- Jura 20:48, 12 March 2018 (UTC)- I've corrected GND 1055314539. LCAuth has created a new ID n2017075245. IdRef 034058710 still needs to be fixed. --Kolja21 (talk) 22:29, 12 March 2018 (UTC)
- Shouldn't we keep the broken ones here? I tried to outline the steps: Help:Conflation of two persons. What do you think of it?
