Notable? edit

start of the discussion: Wikidata:Requests_for_deletions/Archive/2015/01/06#Q15304738

This item meets only the notability policy because it is linked from Q16738068. Q16738068 meets only the notability policy because it has two incoming links (from scowiki and ruwiki). Both articles, however, might be speedly deleted on enwiki or dewiki. So the question: should we keep or delete Diego Grez Cañete (Q15304738)?

Note: I removed a link from Q18445392 as I don't think a newspaper which existed in 1917 should share its item with a online-newspaper which started to exist in 2013.

We should keep them, because we have it as an article on any of the 281 language Wikipedia (and we have even more other side projects like Wikinews, etc). Maybe you should start a discussion on the Russian/Sco-wiki, because the subject might not be notable for them. Notability is not really an issue on WikiData, when there is still an article in any of the available languages. Edoderoo (talk) 07:33, 16 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
I don't understand. This item has not an article in 281 Wikipedia. The only sitelink is to commons which is not enough to meet the notability policy. --Pasleim (talk) 07:55, 16 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
But the item is linked to from within wikidata, see Special:WhatLinksHere/Q15304738. ·addshore· talk to me! 12:14, 16 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
Can Q18445392 be restored? Someone just noted on the chat that there is a Wikimedia Commons category linked to it that has lost its data. There should be two items, one for the 1917 newspaper and one for the online version --WiseWoman (talk) 08:31, 13 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Should it be corrected? edit

Should I correct dog Russian by Diego? Or keep it further as a cautionary tale about self-promotion? Incnis Mrsi (talk) 20:46, 26 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
