Aderusincertae (Q18580661): error, deriving from the database kept by Hallan (a pencilled-in entry): (delete | history | links | entity usage | logs | discussion)

This genus doesn't exist. All the species under this name are wrong. It is Aderus incertae, which means that taxonomists doubt to include them in that genus. Solution is to erase the incertae part of all the names. We are working to fix this in es:. Erfil (talk) 13:48, 3 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Isn't this item still in use? -- BeneBot* (talk) 14:10, 3 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
This object is empty. No articles existence. --Fiver, der Hellseher (talk) 21:37, 3 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
Hellseher, see the third link in the line under the section header of this request: This item is linked to from many items, but maybe only articles in es-wikipedia and bot-created articles in other languages are linked to from that items. Maybe Erfil will do it the right way. Maybe @Succu: will say anything to this? --Diwas (talk) 23:47, 3 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
Erfil is right. Thats not a generic name. But we have to fix this issue at wikidata as well. --09:46, 4 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
What should be done with the dozens of items using this one: Special:WhatLinksHere/Q18580661? - cycŋ - (talkcontribslogs) 10:06, 4 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
I found the source of these errors (search for "Aderusincertae"). So I think we can handle it. --Succu (talk) 11:15, 4 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
Erfil, Lymantria: Simply moving Aderusincertae xxx to Aderus xxx can create non existing names (eg. Aderus tetrastictus). There are around 20 cases left. --Succu (talk) 17:30, 4 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
Is there a better alternative than simply letting them be Aderus xxx for the time being, as there original genus was synonymized with Aderus? Aderusincertae was nonsense. I found one ambiguity: Aderus spinipes Pic, 1916 and Aderus spinipes Lea, 1916. Lymantria (talk) 17:42, 4 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
My idea was to use the original combination. But unfortunately Hylophilus Berthold, 1827 and Xylophilus Curtis, 1830 are not available (later homonyms). --Succu (talk) 18:32, 4 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
So we'll have to wait until someone writes a review of thit genus / these genera. Meanwhile?? Lymantria (talk) 09:53, 5 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
Delete them on nlwiki and eswiki. And of course viwiki (@Cheers!:) --Succu (talk) 10:25, 5 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
That seems the only reasonable way indeed. Vi-wiki entries may be deleted as well... Lymantria (talk) 16:20, 5 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
If it is wrong, please delete all, also in vi.wiki--Cheers! (talk) 05:24, 7 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
Cheers!, you or another admin at viwiki has to do this. --Succu (talk) 21:50, 10 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
