I did the somewhat unusual step of putting the statement that professor Tufekci was born in 1950 as "deprecated", even though it is correctly sourced to VIAF, and add an unknown date of birth as the "normal" statement. I did so because based on photographs of her it is hard to believe that she would indeed be over 67 years old. But I couldn't find a better source. --Denny (talk) 20:50, 19 October 2018 (UTC)
Hmm, I think that date might come from https://catalogue.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/cb177166479 where 19.. is understood as 1950 when being moved to Wikidata, instead of 20th century. It is likely this pattern is repeated in the data. --Denny (talk) 20:52, 19 October 2018 (UTC)
