Conflicting sources edit

In the Newtype USA article Mario Kaneda is described as a "flesh–and–blood female" but the VIAF page shows the gender as "Male". Both are now shown in the sex property. Hopefully someone will be able to resolve this soon. Allen4names (talk) 00:27, 21 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

If a single value is to be used it should be set to unknown until this problem is resolved. The property could also be removed as an alternative. Allen4names (talk) 11:59, 12 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
VIAF is not always a valid source, there have been plenty of errors, so I wouldn't use it as definitive source

I was hoping for a better source. What I have are pages that I believe are from the July 2005 issue of Newtype USA namely the 'How to Art' article (pp. 186-187). I just hope you are right and the VIAF page is wrong. Allen4names (talk) 04:10, 8 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
Allen4names indded, however its not really about me being right so much as their not being any other evidence to any other possiblity other than VIAF which is known to have issue and missmatches, obviously if you find other sources that provide alternate information please add/replace them and include sources.
