This template creates a link to an item from the title of a wiki page linked to it (i.e. a sitelink). In practice, it is a convenience wrapper around Special:ItemByTitle.

Note that there's no "item by label" functionality, since multiple items with the same label can't be automatically disambiguated: see Special:ItemDisambiguation.

Usage

You can use this template to create a link to an item by giving its sitelink. In the easiest case just give the sitelink, as in {{item|A}}, or the more compact version, {{i|A}}. The result is A.

There is the possibility to give a specific site (2) and the title of the link. The fully function would be {{i|Deutschland|dewiki|Germany}}: Germany.
