Template:Uw-Wikinews-article-merged-with-concept
Hello, I'm Example. I have reverted one of your recent contributions, as it merged an article of Wikinews with its main topic. As stated in the policy regarding merges, they can be done only if the two items are about the exact same thing, and a news article is not the same thing as a person or concept. The item about the Wikinews article should link to the item about its subject with main subject (P921). If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! ~~~~
This template should always be substituted – use {{subst:Uw-Wikinews-article-merged-with-concept}} |
Usage edit
Note that this template has to be substituted, so use it in the form of {{subst:Uw-Wikinews-article-merged-with-concept|Q42}}
. The template automatically adds {{subst:Welcome}} and a month-year header (i.e.
"April 2024"), if the edit that adds it is the edit that creates the user's talk page. To opt out of this feature, add a welcome=no
parameter.
