Hi Edoderoo!

I am always checking Edoderoobot's work because it's very interesting how it works. Yesterday I saw that you have published your script, Set-nl-description, with CC-BY-SA 3.0 License.

I thought that I could try to configure your script to work with my bot ―CanaryBot, not active in Wikidata―. My idea is work in the Spanish and Portuguese labels and descriptions, what do you think about it? Do you think that is possible what I have thought?

If you are agree with my idea, I would like to use your script and set the terms in Spanish, and then, in Portuguese. When I will have the script ready I would try it in Wikidata-test to verify its correct functioning.

I hope that you like my idea, thanks in advance! I await your answer.

Of course you can use (parts of) my script. If you know a bit of Python, it will be rather easy to pluck the pieces you need to give it a start. A few tips: I started with creating log files, that will show what the script *would* change, without really making the changes. Once that worked well enough, I made some simple descriptions. From there I extended more types, most of the items get a description depending on P31/is a, and every now and then I add some new types. Let me know if you have any particular questions!

Thank you so much for your message Edoderoo! When I have a bit of time available to check what I need of your script, I will notice you to confirm that I am doing it correctly. I am going to follow your advice ―create log files first, the simple descriptions and the extend to more typs―. Soon I will return to ask you more about it!
