Topic on User talk:Pasleim

i noticed a lot of red links on Wikidata:WikiProject sum of all paintings/Creator/Giambattista Pittoni. Paintings do meet the notability criteria. Please restore all the paintings you deleted.

I know that paintings meet notability criteria, but these items I deleted were created by globally blocked user Alec Smithson. This user is known to add patently false information and spurious references. You can find a detailed description of their behaviour on en:Wikipedia:Long-term abuse/Alec Smithson.

That's not a valid reason for deletion. Plenty of these paintings are linked to images and have been edited by other editors.
