Koninklijke Bibliotheek (National library of the Netherlands) edit

I am currently working for the Koninklijke Bibliotheek Nederland/the National Library of The Netherlands where I am (since February 2021) a linked data specialist. Sometimes my work at the KB entails working on wikidata. I do work - with the team I am in - on implementing a wikibase for the KB; this wikibase will form our linked data storage. To reconcile the data in our wikibase with wikidata I am currently working on the medieval manuscripts of the KB on wikidata.

Before... edit

Before February 2021 I did work on putting the data and images of their alba amicorum and the KB collection highlights on wiki platforms (mainly wikidata, commons, wikipedia and sometimes wikisource)

Articles edit

I wrote a couple of articles about the collection highlights of the KB on the different Wikimedia platforms

Previous activities edit

- Maastricht University Library From mid-June 2021 until April 2022 I have been working for the University Library Maastricht as a Wikidata specialist-in-Residence; I worked on their 'Golden age of illustration' collection.

- Until October 2019 I was the project leader of the "Netherlands and the World"programma for Wikimedia NL chapter. I was in particular involved in our Wiki goes Caribbean (WGC) project. With this project we tried to increase, extend, improve and update the information on Suriname and the islands of the (Dutch) Caribbean on different Wikimedia-projects (Wikipedia, Commons, Wikidata and Wikisource). I organised several online and offline events (like editathons) about 'Suriname and the (Dutch) Caribbean' and 'Wiki loves Monuments'. The editathons often took place in the National Archives in The Hague (Netherlands). Apart from editathons, workshops and presentations another goal of Wiki goes Caribbean is to facilitate content donations of GLAMs to Commons and possibly Wikidata or Wikisource.

- Until July 2018 I was the Wikipedian in Residence for the Memory of the Worldproject of UNESCO NL in The Hague. Their focus was 'Heritage in the Dutch Caribbean.'
