Brady Kiesling (https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q4955198) Based in Athens, Greece; creator of ToposText, a mobile app and website for classics/archaeology that indexes a huge library of ancient texts for places and personal names. Working since 2019 to align ancient places and persons in ToposText to Wikidata, particularly for Pausanias, in the process creating Wikidata items for as many monuments and ancient cult terms as possible.
A current project (2022- ) is to map commemorative busts (wd:Q113650147), portrait statues (wd:Q12873675), and public memorials in Greece (e.g. war memorial (wd:Q575759), memorial sculpture (wd:Q64850080), giving where known the sculptor, entity depicted, entity commemorated, location, administrative location, coordinates, material, state of conservation, sponsor, donor, access restriction, image file from Commons. Ideally, a qualifier could show the role played by the person commemorated, e.g. hometown celebrity (wd:Q115869827) or ethnarch (wd:Q1371303) (for El. Venizelos among Cretans, Kolokotronis for Arcadians/Peloponnesians, etc.)
