This bot adds position held (P39) statements to items, using the same input format as QuickStatements. In contrast to the current version of QuickStatements, this bot can add a second version of a statement which already exists.

This is necessary in the case of position data as an individual may hold a position multiple times and therefore require multiple statements (whereas QuickStatements will squish all the qualifiers onto a single statement.)

Example: someone elected as member of the German Bundestag (Q1939555) in two separate legislative terms would have two separate statements for member of the German Bundestag (Q1939555), each with qualifiers denoting the relevant parliamentary term (P2937), parliamentary group (P4100), elected in (P2715), etc.

Magnus Manske is aware of this problem with QuickStatements, and hopes to fix it in a future version. This bot is a workaround until then.
