aminophenol edit

aminophenol (Q27118884) and aminophenol substructure (Q110912313) describe different concepts and must not be merged. One is about a group of chemical compounds (i.e. group of isomers), the other is about the whole class of chemical compounds (i.e. every compound that have a benzene ring substituted with an amino group and a hydroxy group. @Wostr: I acknowledge. It would be even clearer to call those "classes of chemical compounds" substructures.--Сексмонстр (talk) 19:23, 17 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Singular vs plural edit

[1], [2]: At least in English (and some other languages like Polish) it has been agreed that labels should be singular for groups and classes of chemical compounds. It is known that the same label may be present for a chemical compound, a group of chemical compounds and a class of chemical compounds, but descriptions are there to disambiguate such items. Singular labels are not present in all items about groups and classes of chemical compounds yet, but it has been standardized in thousands of items, so changing it back to plural would require at least a discussion in WikiProject Chemistry. Plural labels should be placed as aliases. Wostr (talk) 16:49, 15 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

I'm sorry, in my language they are standardized to plural.--Сексмонстр (talk) 19:23, 17 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
