Rótulos

Oi Ajmcbarreto! "Igreja da Misericórdia (Salvador)" ou "Rua da Misericórdia (Salvador)" são títulos da Wikipédia em que há homônimos e convencionou-se adotar termos desambiguadores entre parêntesis para diferenciar as páginas e poder escrever sobre temas diferentes em páginas diferentes. Essa situação pode ser recorrente em alguns outros projetos, como o Commons. Mas não é o caso do Wikidata. Os rótulos (principais) não devem, nem precisam ter esses termos desambiguadores. Títulos assim podem ser apontados nos "Nomes alternativos", mas não no rótulo. A descrição serve justamente para resolver possíveis casos de ambiguidade de nomes. Please merge instead of blanking

Thank you for your work in maintaining Wikidata. I have a small suggestion to improve your future work. If you notice that two items are duplicates, please merge them instead of blanking one of them as you did with the page Q59205392. External sites use Wikidata identifiers, so it is important that we preserve the chain of references. We do this by making one item a redirect for the other. In particular, item ids are intended to be a permanent identifier, so we never reuse them for another concept. thanks for the suggestion, Bovlb! I believed that there was a more efficient way to eliminate duplicate items, I just didn't know how. I will adopt your suggestion. Hello Ajmcbarreto! Thank you for your work on South American politics. I noticed the following small(ish) issues:

- there are several misspellings of government in the English labels. I know it's a difficult word, and usually just to get close enough for autocorrect to get what I was trying to write. Unfortunately. spelling mistakes, especially in the label, are rather more relevant on Wikidata because they are important to find anything (and the search index wants exact matches)

- similarly, your German descriptions always start lower-case. But, in German, all nouns are capitalised. This should also happen for the first word in descriptions in the same way that, for example, peoples' names, nationalities, or names of months are capitalised for English descriptions.

- I'm not entirely sure if there is justification for splitting "government of XYZ" and "cabinet of XYZ". The terms are often used interchangeably. If you look at the list of "cabinets of", you'll see quite a few "governments of...".

The same thing I will do with German expressions mistakenly registered in lower case (I noticed you are a native speaker of the Goethe language), as soon as I find a way to find them.

As for the differences between "government of XYZ" and "cabinet of XYZ", they are a feature of Brazil's presidential regime, with frequent changes of components, according to political conventions. In fact, our policy is so complicated that I wouldn't even be able to explain it properly.

Não me lembro de ter realizado muitas fusões como essa. Sabe como posso pesquisar muitas colaborações, especialmente no que se refere a fusão de item?

Gostaria também que vc me explicasse qual o critério que a comunidade utiliza para categorizar alguém como "Pessoas associadas a tal lugar". Seria alguém que nasceu em determinada cidade e migrou para outra? eu gostaria de saber qual a distinção entre as duas categorias.

Provavelmente essa é a diferença, mas não sei te dizer com certeza. Por exemplo, Priscila Fantin nasceu por aqui e Claudia Leitte não nem Carybé, nem Verger, dentre tantos outros profissionais/pessoas que nascem aqui mas fazem carreira fora e o contrário também. Olá Ajmcbarreto! Vi que adicionou uns endereços que são atalhos para o Google Maps nessa propriedade described at URL (P973). Imagino que isso não é o mais adequado visto que há a propriedade Google Maps Customer ID (P3749). Fiz a substituição em duas páginas: Cinemark Itabuna (Q105100089) (special:diff/1350221014/1351190883) e Cine Porto Plaza (Q105094496) (special:diff/1349893432/1351197771). Com https://www.sterlingsky.ca/how-to-find-the-cid-number-on-google-maps/ tu pode descobrir como achar o identificador do Google Maps. Tu pode adicionar extensões se usa o Chrome como navegador, achar pelo código-fonte quando estiver no Google Maps ou usar um conversor hexadecimal com certo trecho de determinados endereços eletrônicos. Instância e subclasse

Olá, Ajmcbarreto! Em Movimento de Pau de Colher (Q18476427), vi que adicionou valores para essas propriedades. Vi coisas do tipo em outras edições. Por parecer não ter entendido a diferença, te escrevo. A propriedade da subclasse são para agrupamentos. Por exemplo, no item de "federação desportiva" cabe as várias federações existentes no Brasil e no mundo, dessa forma trata-se de um agrupamento, uma subclasse de organização esportiva (que podem ser tribunais, equipes, torcidas, etc.). Já, por exemplo, o item da "Federação Bahiana de Futebol" não é um agrupamento e vai receber o item de "federação desportiva" na propriedade da instância. Se fosse um item de "federação desportiva de futebol", aí sim receberia o item de "federação desportiva" na propriedade de subclasse, já que se trata de um agrupamento dessa vez. Olá, Ajmcbarreto! É muito comum eu encontrar itens editados por tu que estão com os rótulos trocados. Onde era para ser em inglês está em português e vice-versa.
