There is a discussion happening about plans to improve Special:Block with the ability to set new types of blocks. To get the best design and new functions added, it is essential that people who use the tool join the discussion and share their opinions about these changes.

Instead of a full site wide block, you would be able to set a Partial Block. A user could be blocked from a single page, multiple pages, one or more namespaces, from uploading files, etc. There are several different ways to add this feature to Special:Block. Right now Important decisions are being made about the design and function.

That entity is not notable in its own right. The item you made seems like simple advertizing to me, which isn't what Wikidata is for. Greetings Ajraddatz, I recently submitted a reasonable request to the Wikidata community about unblocking me on the Wikidata IRC channel. That request was closed by first Jasper Deng after he opposed it and on multi occasions has stated he does not want me unblocked. I reverted it twice based on policy. That being someone who is involved in a discussion and has a strong feeling, should not close that discussion.

Then another problematic user with a history of edit warring Succu closed it as wrong project and when I asked them about it, started calling me a troll which I have a problem with given that I have always been a positive contributor on this project.

So, since you have always been reasonable, I wanted to report this interaction to you, since if I reported it on the Admin notice board they would both undoubtedly just revert it. Cheers!

You've been told a million times that on-wiki venues are not appropriate for discussion of matters related to IRC channels; it's not admin business, it's channel op business. Since you can't seem to be bothered to understand that, I closed the discussion. There is no policy that says I can't take that action as an operator, especially when I've already directed you to the proper appeal route.

There is a policy that says people involved in the discussion cannot close it especially those who supported or opposed it. You keep saying that there are lines of people who support the ban yet, when asked to let someone else close it you refused. I contend there are far less people that want me banned than not and your refusal to allow the process to work without forcing it to favor the outcome that you and a few others want, only shows me that I am right. There is also no policy that says the community cannot decide if I am welcome in the channel or not. Commons did it! Or do you believe that what you and a few other ops want is more important than the community?

Even if they don't, which I admit is possible and wouldn't surprise me, (virtually every other WMF project I know of does) they may not follow it any more than the others do. But both you and Jasper had the opportunity to discuss it and all you wanted to do was insult me and force the discussion the discussion to the outcome you wanted. So now its time to let the adults discuss it. You had you're opportunity and decided instead to escalate instead of resolve.

Ok thanks and you're right but a discussion on Commons cleared it up for that channel and I am hoping the same will happen here. These are really the only 2 WMF channels I feel I need and have no plans to ask for any of the others regardless of my personal feelings that the global ban is unneeded, retaliatory and politically motivated rather than preventive. I also have precisely zero faith or trust in AlexZ based on our past interactions so leaving it to him is ensuring it will never happen. Cheers!

In fact, to be honest, I wouldn't even trust AlexZ to keep his word if we made an agreement. He already made one arrangement and broke it before it even started and refuses to even discuss it with me like a mature adult. So as far as I am concerned he doesn't have the maturity or ability to do the task he has been granted. If someone like you made an agreement then I would be very interested, but not him. He asked his friends on Wikia where I'm an editor in good standing to block me there because he couldn't. That's pretty low frankly. I have no respect for that kind of conduct an frankly people like that shouldn't be allowed to be ops of functionaries on the WMF projects.
