I hope you are doing well,

I am Kholoud, a researcher at King's College London, and I am working on a project as part of my PhD research, in which I have developed a personalised recommender model that suggests Wikidata items for the editors based on their past edits. I am inviting you to a task-based study that will ask you to provide your judgments about the relevance of the items suggested by our model based on your previous edits. Participation is completely voluntary, and your cooperation will enable us to evaluate the accuracy of the recommender system in suggesting relevant items to you. We will analyse the results anonymised, and they will be published to a research venue.

The study should take no more than 15 minutes.

Volevo farti una domanda sul funzionamento di OpenMLOL, visto che questo mio dubbio non è stato risolto dalla Guida Introduttiva: accade che ci siano schede di autori duplicate (esempio per Tibullus (Q109598): https://openmlol.it/autori/5201 + https://openmlol.it/autori/169081 + https://openmlol.it/autori/176496) ... in questi casi, non ho capito se:

• si sceglie di mantenere sempre schede distinte, oppure
• si sceglie di unire le schede, e in tal caso
  • in che modo si sceglie di unire le schede

Altre due domande (sto esplorando il sito e devo dire che mi piacere molto!):

• esiste una lista di tutte le schede degli autori? In modo tale che si possa creare un catalogo Mix'n'match
• ho visto che esiste un pulsante per suggerire modifiche nelle schede delle singole risorse ... ma se io volessi suggerire una modifica alla scheda di un autore? Esempio: in https://openmlol.it/autori/65737 vorrei suggerire di aggiungere un link a Wikipedia (https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atilio_Fortunaziano) e un link al VIAF (https://viaf.org/viaf/78625557/), come faccio? Oppure, altro esempio: https://openmlol.it/autore/413945, oltre a difettare dei link a Wikipedia e VIAF, dovrebbe volgere il nome dal genitivo al nominativo.

Greek plays were written originally in Greek, not in Italian. Also, Percy Bysse Shelley wrote poetry in English, not Italian. Please stop labeling everything as Italian.

Hi @EncycloPetey, you're right. But I'm working "automatically" with QuickStatements with data taken from WS-Search... I was planning to review things afterwards: the thing is, if I have to make all the statements by hand, we'll wait another couple of years before anyone in it.source wants to do something. I came to the conclusion that if we want Wikisources to be integrated with Wikidata, we need some exploratory and automatic work. I'm being bold and trying to show my fellow wikisourcerors that we can do this in quite an easy way, but this means leaving some dirty data behind. I'm just happy if want to help me track items to review, but please don't ask me to stop right now ;-)

You're also adding language statements to items Mediawiki disambiguation pages. Disambiguation pages should not have any statements like that at all.

Yes, I've seen that too. The problem is that, right now, Wikisource have dirty data inside templates, and we put them in 10 years of work. To get them, we need to scrape them, and so the output is not flawless. I'll try to see afterwards if I can do a query looking for disambiguation pages with wrong property, so I can clean them by hand. If you are good with SPARQL and you can help me with that, I promide to tidy up everything.

Unfortunately I do not know SPARQL; I do most of my editing by hand. Iwork heavily in Greek drama, and have been adding Greek drama information to Wikidata from every Wikisource, including it-WS. My goal has been to establish a model that other WS editors can follow. The people at fr-WS are now doing the same.

I know: it's a problem that I tried to face several times, from 2013, and I always failed. Last time was in August, me and @Nonoranonqui established a draft workflow for books, but in the end we couldn't reach a consensus. So now I'm playing with Excel and the few automatic lists I can manage to do, to set the foundation of a better integration between it.source and Wikidata. My goal, for now, is more simple then yours: I'm merely trying to put all the metadata I can in the edition items of Wikisource books. Later, when they are complete, we'll think about connecting them with "work" items, like your Greek tragedies. Feel free to clean the items I misplaced, of course.

If you're working from a set list of items, you might remove Antigone and Agamemnon. Those items will already have their data included.

"To a Skylark" is a problem because the it-WS translation was linked to the ''work'' data item instead of having it's own data item. If you create a separate data item for the it-WS translation (which it should have), then you should be OK.
