Merging items edit

Hallo BattlePeasant,

For merging items, you may want to use the merge.js gadget from help page about merging. It has an option "Request deletion for extra items on RfD" to automatically place a request to delete the emptied page. This way of nominating makes it a lot easier for the admins to process the requests.

With regards, -      - (Cycn/talk) 12:04, 4 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

When there is no obvious reason to keep one items and not the other, I always keep the lower numbered item, as that is the oldest one. There's an option in the gadget to always merge towards the lower number. -      - (Cycn/talk) 08:36, 20 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
I keep the item having the highest number of properties and interwiki. WBR, BattlePeasant (talk) 08:56, 20 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
Doesn't that take more effort from you? -      - (Cycn/talk) 07:52, 21 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
I consider your actions as the Dutch chauvinism. 18 unnecessary edits, for what? WBR, BattlePeasant (talk) 08:09, 21 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
In order to keep the lower number. Was there a specific reason why you wanted to keep the higher numbered item? If there is, then please provide it it your nomination. If there isn't I will merge towards the lower numbered item, as it does not take any more effort from me. The number of interwiki's and properties does not affect the merging and deletion effort at all, so if that's your only reason not to keep the lower number I see no reason to act on it. There may be other reasons to keep the higher number, like links from external ) sites (non wiki projects, but none of those seem to be involved, or you failed to mention them. -      - (Cycn/talk) 09:30, 25 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
After your colorful explanation on the Forum, I believe I now hget your point. I restored Juglanin (Q15720546) and removed the other item. I could have moved it to the lower number with the correct settings afterwards, but I thought i'd better leave it like this for now. -      - (Cycn/talk) 10:58, 25 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
I do not care, as long as it was convenient to you. And you can easily sacrifice their principles for no apparent reason. WBR, BattlePeasant (talk) 12:31, 25 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Cellulose diacetate edit

Hello! I just noticed that you removed the formula C₂H₄O₂ from this item: cellulose diacetate (Q3025842). Is that not the correct formula? This page claims that it is. Danrok (talk) 04:41, 28 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

This is the formula of acetic acid. Cellulose diacetate is ether of cellulose and acetic acid. WBR, BattlePeasant (talk) 04:58, 28 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

ICD codes on Q4073307 edit

Why are there all of these ICD-10 codes on an item about a drug? Q4073307 --I9606 (talk) 21:06, 2 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
