Babel edit

Babel lets you view and edit more than one language on Wikidata. Just add e.g.{{#babel:de-N|en-3|es-1|fr-2|nl-3|it-4|da-0}} to your user page. --Tobias1984 (talk) 19:50, 21 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Merging edit

Hi, Fixer88, good on you for merging – just don't forget to RFD the empty items; you can set the tool to do that for you, too. Best, Littledogboy (talk) 00:09, 28 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

And also while merging try to keep the lower Qid item. That means merge the higher one with lower one as it is likely that lower Qid item is older and more comprehensive edit history. Thank you for your good work.--Vyom25 (talk) 14:08, 12 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Merging items edit

Hallo Fixer88,

For merging items, you may want to use the merge.js gadget from help page about merging. It has an option "Request deletion for extra items on RfD" to automatically place a request to delete the emptied page. This way of nominating makes it a lot easier for the admins to process the requests.

With regards, -      - (Cycn/talk) 06:48, 8 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Could you please have another look at this tool, as it would make it easier to process your merges and I find that yours I don't need to check, as they're always valid ones. -      - (Cycn/talk) 06:48, 11 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
Strange, I just saw you are using it, but I need to process them manually. I will have a look into that, but it seems not to be something you can do anything about. Sorry for bothering you, keep up the good work! -      - (Cycn/talk) 06:52, 11 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
Have you considered to check the box to create a redirect in stead of to do a request for deletion? Kind regards, Lymantria (talk) 06:49, 6 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

comarca of Cantabria (Q5150551) edit

Please don't reuse item ids, just create a new one. Multichill (talk) 22:55, 4 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Yes please don't do it. I have fixes 5 of the items that you have done this to. We will now also log any cases of redirect removal! ·addshore· talk to me! 19:52, 30 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
I got it already. I shall never do that again. Fixer88 (talk) 14:12, 22 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

merge edit

Hi! Can you merge Drone forces major UK airport, Gatwick, to shut and Gatwick Airport drone incident, which I think you created, please, since they are on the same topic? Qwerty number1 (talk) 16:42, 27 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Template edit

Hello.

Can you create and upload simple:Template:Cities in Azerbaijan in English Wikipedia (and optional, in Scots Wikipedia)?

The English Wikipedia version of this template doesn't actually exist.

Because I live in Turkey where Wikipedia is banned and blocked, it is off limits for us.

Yours sincerely, Karalainza (talk) 22:15, 2 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
