Dam subclasses edit

I notice that you are creating many items for individual dams with statements using subclass of (P279) to point to dam classes like dam with more than 10 meters and less than 15 meters high (Q62010925), instead of using instance of (P31) or similar. This seems to be incorrect modelling. --Yair rand (talk) 03:32, 25 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

It is just wrong. I am going to move those statements to P31 instead of P279 now. —MisterSynergy (talk) 17:30, 16 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

women's association football edit

Hi GiFontenelle. My bot is changing some things and I've seen that you usually put women's association football as a sport, but in reality the sport is football (association football (Q2736)). Thank you very much. --Vanbasten 23 (talk) 21:31, 1 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Q90088583 has wrong size values edit

Homem Anonimo (34) (Q90088583) and possibly other items have wrong size values 43926 x 9 (no units). Please fix. --Jarekt (talk) 04:12, 13 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hey, Jarekt! Thanks for letting me know. I'm already correcting the items. --GiFontenelle (talk) 22:18, 15 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Material used: lattice edit

Hello. You have recently merged a number of items describing postcards such as No. 86. Santos. Avenida Conselheiro Nebias (Q55763307) with some other items. As a result, they got the statement made from material (P186): lattice (Q595364) (note that this is a mathematical term), which is clearly incorrect. Please fix it. --colt_browning (talk) 21:06, 15 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hey, colt_browning! Thanks for letting me know. It's done! I already corrected them. --GiFontenelle (talk) 22:20, 15 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Q27935629 edit

Hi GiFontenelle, can you check the above and maybe related items. It seems some batch went wrong. --- Jura 18:51, 7 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi Jura|! Thank you so much for letting me know! I just corrected it and transfered the edits to this item. I also checked and this was the only mistake I could find within the batch. Thanks again! -- GiFontenelle (talk) 21:08, 7 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

place of death (P20) added to a living person! edit

Hi GiFontenelle, you must be very careful with what you add to living people's items! You inadvertently added a "place of death" to musician Ivan Vilela, even including a reference to a site which says nothing about his death, implying that he is alive and well (he is). This kind of sensitive information could have been (was it?) propagated to other Wikimedia projects and even beyond, causing damage to the person's image. I just removed it. Regards, —capmo (talk) 13:19, 30 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi, capmo. I'm very aware of this aspect, that it is sensitive information and that we have to be very careful on Wikidata, especially because indeed it might be propagated to other Wikimedia projects and beyond. However, as you might have seen, that was an edit made through a batch upload of the Musica Brasilis database, in a GLAM initiative last year. I did not have much control over the content of the data there. I might be mistaken, but what I suspected happened was that it was a piece of wrong information on the website, that probably has been corrected after my upload. Thank you for correcting on Wikidata, GiFontenelle (talk) 14:27, 30 August 2021 (UTC).Reply

About institutional repository (Q1065413) edit

Is there any rationale of the relation institutional repository (Q1065413) subclass of (P279) repository (Q108296843)? For example, Institutional repository of the University of La Plata (Q6126111) is owned by (P127) National University of La Plata (Q784171), but that is not a department of National University of La Plata (Q784171), I think. There can be cases where a institutional repository is managed by an independent institution with the repository name under the university, but in many cases, the library service manage that. On the other hand, biorepository (Q4915239) subclass of (P279) repository (Q108296843) as institutions are listed in https://species.wikimedia.org/wiki/Repositories . If it is OK, I will remove subclass of (P279) between institutional repository (Q1065413) and repository (Q108296843). --KAMEDA, Akihiro (talk) 12:11, 8 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

I have removed that statement. If you think that is not OK, any comment will be welcomed. KAMEDA, Akihiro (talk) 16:14, 22 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
