Wikidata is a free knowledge base that you can edit! It can be read and edited by humans and machines alike and you can go to any item page now and add to this ever-growing database!

Need some help getting started? Here are some pages you can familiarize yourself with:

Wikidata Infobox edit

Belated thanks for the ping at the meetup at Wikimania in Cape Town! I forgot to mention Commons:Wikidata infobox help then - but I've added some screenshots and extra documentation to cover what I presented about. Does that make sense? Happy editing! Thanks. Thanks, Mike Peel. That link was dead, did you mean this? But then I don't see your screen shots. I know our first step is entering more info in WikiData so there it is sufficient to make an infobox with... I may ping you for more help later. That's the right page, sorry for the bad link before. I just added two images on the right to show the relevant parts of the page, rather than screenshots of every stage - most of the info about what to do is in the text instead.
