Wikidata is a free knowledge base that you can edit! It can be read and edited by humans and machines alike and you can go to any item page now and add to this ever-growing database!

Merging

Hallo Jochumzen,
When you merge items, you may want to use the merge.js gadget from help page about merging. It helps with merging, nominating, gives the option to always keep the lower number (which is older, so preferable in most cases) and makes it a lot easier for the admins to process the requests.

Ersatt av eller följs av

Då du redigerar i princip bara svenska ämnen, chansar jag på att du läser/skriver svenska.

Här byter du ut "Ersatt av" av med "Följs av". Det är nog sant att "följs av" finns kvar på väldigt många ställen, men jag har tolkat det som att "ersatt av" ska användas istället. Se P:P1366 ("person, state or item which replaces another in an office, position, etc") medan P:P156 säger ("immediately following item in some series of which the subject is part") I Wikidatas tidiga ungdom, innan P1366 skapades, var det P156 vi använde för båda syftena. Därför finns det kvar många sådana påståenden. Och Västra Götaland ersatte ju Älvsborg och två andra län. "Följs av" är nog idag mer för nummerserier, typ asteroiderna "1 Ceres", "2 Pallas" etc. På det sättet skulle man ju kunna säga att E-län (Östergötland) följs av F-län (Jönköping).
