Hello! The Wikimedia Foundation is asking for your feedback in a survey. We want to know how well we are supporting your work on and off wiki, and how we can change or improve things in the future. This survey is primarily meant to get feedback on the Wikimedia Foundation's current work, not long-term strategy. The opinions you share will directly affect the current and future work of the Wikimedia Foundation. You have been randomly selected to take this survey as we would like to hear from your Wikimedia community. To say thank you for your time, we are giving away 20 Wikimedia T-shirts to randomly selected people who take the survey. Legal stuff: No purchase necessary. Must be the age of majority to participate. Sponsored by the Wikimedia Foundation located at 149 New Montgomery, San Francisco, CA, USA, 94105. Ends January 31, 2017. Void where prohibited. Click here for contest rules. The survey is available in various languages and will take between 20 and 40 minutes.

Please don't vandalize Wikidata edit
Edits such as this are neither funny nor cute. They just waste people's time, and in this case, mine. Please consider making constructive edits. Jane023 (talk) 10:38, 23 February 2017 (UTC)
- The Mulatto, by Frans Hals is part of art collection of Alfred Thieme. However I agree with you that it cannot be considered under the image, but under a separate property. Jsamwrites (talk) 11:05, 23 February 2017 (UTC)

Language is ... (structured/imperative/procedural/...) programming edit
I believe that such statements are wrong as the property is not correct. May be better to use genre (P136)? Or manifestation of (P1557)? Or at least PublicWhip ID (P2169) which is correct anyway but may be not too exact. So I propose you to choose better property and replace P31 with it everywhere. Lowercase letter for common nouns edit
We usually use lowercase letters for common nouns, cf. [1] — Finn Årup Nielsen (fnielsen) (talk) 09:33, 9 March 2017 (UTC)
Qualifiers vs. references edit
Hi! I see you added some reference as a qualifier: please try to add that as a reference instead. As it looks like you are doing automated edits, please make sure you get this sort of thing right. It would be great if you could clean up the other qualifiers like this one that you have added (changing them to references). Thanks for your contributions otherwise, I am sure your influenced by (P737) statements will make an interesting graph! (If you could add references on them, that would be even better.) Cheers. − Pintoch (talk) 19:06, 13 March 2017 (UTC)
- Thank you for the feedback. I will correct them. Jsamwrites (talk) 20:10, 13 March 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Pintoch, if you are interested in the latest version of the influence graph, you can run the following query:
#defaultView:Graph
SELECT Distinct ?item1 ?item1Label ?item2 ?item2Label
WHERE {
?item1 wdt:P31/wdt:P279* wd:Q9143.
?item2 wdt:P31/wdt:P279* wd:Q9143.
?item1 wdt:P737 ?item2.
SERVICE wikibase:label { bd:serviceParam wikibase:language "en" }
}
Instance of software edit
Hello, you recently added instance of software on many items. A large part of them have already a P31 defined as subclass of software.
Adding instance of software on this type of items is redundant and useless. I will remove some of these statements; please verify an item has no P31 which is a subclass of software before adding instance of software to it.
Thank you. — Metamorforme42 (talk) 15:33, 18 March 2017 (UTC)
Duplicated official website edit
Hello! Please double check, official website (P856) already existed in GNU Octave (Q223679) [2]. --Valerio Bozzolan (talk) 14:58, 19 March 2017 (UTC)
Pilot Campaign edit
Hi Jsamwrites!
Thank you very much for registering yourself on Wikidata:Item_quality_campaign. I would like to check if you have tried labeling some sets of item in the pilot campaign. If that's not the case, it would be great if you do so, since we only have very few (~5) sets of item left :) --Glorian WD (talk) 10:44, 28 March 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Glorian WD! Great project! Yes, I have tested labeling all the four types of worksets: Article topic, Edit type, Edit quality and Edit quality. I have a feedback for the article topic (is it sometimes difficult to decide what you call academic? (academic institution, topic of academic interest etc.) Jsamwrites (talk) 11:29, 28 March 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Jsamwrites! Perhaps, you did the wrong campaign? since my project used this campaign: https://labels.wmflabs.org/ui/wikidatawiki/. Have you tried it as well? :). --Glorian WD (talk) 16:17, 28 March 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Glorian WD, I think there was a problem with the redirection. Thanks for the correct url. I have labelled the remaining dataset. Eagerly waiting to see the results. Jsamwrites (talk) 16:38, 28 March 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Jsamwrites! Thank you very much! Yes, we're almost done with the pilot campaign. However, according to the statistics, there're 8 items left. Apparently, there's an editor who has requested a workset, and left the workset unfinished. I have identified the editor and asked him to finish labeling the items on his workset. To get the updates about the project, you can stay tune on Wikidata:Item_quality_campaign. --Glorian WD (talk) 18:48, 28 March 2017 (UTC)

Hi. Could you please check if you made more of this sort of errors? --Leyo 09:45, 17 April 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks Leyo for the correction. I just made a check and didn't find any other cases. Jsamwrites (talk) 10:28, 17 April 2017 (UTC)
- Found some cases (recent edits) and currently correcting them. Jsamwrites (talk) 10:35, 17 April 2017 (UTC)
