Your revertsEdit
Hi, regarding your reverts [1], [2], [3]: What do you suggest for marking those items as women's national teams? Yellowcard (talk) 15:00, 27 October 2015 (UTC)
- Hi, I am not sure, but (Q8722507) Kategorie:Fußballnationalmannschaft (Frauen) could be OK, don't you think so ? --La femme de menage (talk) 21:33, 27 October 2015 (UTC)
- No, that's a category, not a good item to be used. What was the reason why you removed the existing one? Yellowcard (talk) 23:39, 27 October 2015 (UTC)
- Well, Frauenfußball (Q606060) is the fact that football is performed or played by women. It seems wrong to declare that those 3 women's national teams -among hundred ones- are admissible to Q606060 (Women that plays football does not need to be declared admissible to play). They are just a kind of part, an example of what is called Q606060)
- Is there really a need to mark it's women's national team, although it is said in the label ? On the opposite, how would you mark that Germany national football team is not all national teams, but only men's national team ? This item should be clarified, but I cannot see the need for items whose name shows that they are football women's teams to mark that it is a case of football played by women. --La femme de menage (talk) 10:25, 28 October 2015 (UTC)
- Admissible might be a wrong translation to French. The property clarifies a competition class the subject is in, maybe you can help find a better French term (I don't speak French, so I don't know). Wikidata is a database, so it is necessary to expess the difference between national teams and women's national teams via statement, not only via label. A difference: In the German national team, also women are allowed to play – it just does not happen in reality. In women's national teams, no men are able to play. That's the difference. // That only 3 women's national teams have this property is of the only reason that noone has added it for the rest of it. You could help doing so. :) Yellowcard (talk) 12:14, 28 October 2015 (UTC)
- I changed the French label of competition class (P2094) to classe de qualification – I hope it is a better translation for the purpose of the property. Yellowcard (talk) 12:16, 28 October 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for the change, but it does not really change the fact that Frauenfußball (Q606060) is not a class of competition, it just "bezeichnet die Sportart Fußball, wenn sie von Frauen ausgeübt wird." And I would be delighted to have reference which states that women should be admitted in the England, Germany or Chili men's national teams (or supposed non-gendered teams) (Would UEFA and FIFA accept it ? ;)). But I feel you are convinced it's necessary to mark women's teams as a women's practice, when on the opposite I'm convinced it's necessary to mark so-called "national teams" as "men's national teams". So, don't waste our time on this ontological questions : I tried to explain why it seems unappropriated, you don't agree : please do what you think right. --La femme de menage (talk) 16:31, 28 October 2015 (UTC)

astuceEdit
Cordialement. --La femme de menage (talk) 10:34, 10 March 2016 (UTC)
