- No, there is a big difference. Doktor Nauk in Philosophy (Q17281084) is a subclass of Doctor of Sciences (Q2628227) and applicable only for multilevel doctoral system in Russia and many other post-Soviet states. There are many subclasses for Doctor of Sciences (Q2628227), and all of them has no alternatives in Western universities. The closest degree (in terms of earn order) for Doctor of Philosophy (Q752297) is Candidate of Sciences (Q737462), but in terms of wikidata these items should be separated. --Lockal (talk) 07:49, 14 August 2014 (UTC)
