Hi! I saw you adding coordinates (and other stuff) to items. Maybe you would be interested or just could do that for Latvian Wikipedia, too? We have currently 657 such articles. --Edgars2007 (talk) 19:29, 25 June 2015 (UTC)

Flood flag

Hi, I think that you should request a flood flag since you are making so many changes in a short time. --Stryn (talk) 19:31, 25 June 2015 (UTC)

Unfortunately, my edit style does not work well with flood flag. As you probably have guessed, I'm performing bulk edits with QuickStatements (usually for a single category) and then do a bunch of manual fixes (merging duplicates, renaming and splitting items). AFAIK there is no simple way to temporarily remove flood flag and regain it. I just don't have time to wait few days before being able to perform a bulk edit. I have registered User:Lockalbot, and I am going to submit a request for bot permission when I finish with scripting (probably a day after tomorrow; and no time for editing tomorrow). Sorry for inconvenience. --Lockal (talk) 20:51, 25 June 2015 (UTC)
Hi, this is no excuse to flood the recent changes. Also, we have an mw:API:Etiquette. Therefore, please wait until you got a flood flag/bot approved before continuing your edits. Otherwise, we may have to force you stop editing to prevent damage (increased lag etc.) from the project. I don't want to be disruptive, just make clear that this behaviour is unacceptable. Best regards -- Bene* talk 21:27, 25 June 2015 (UTC)
One suggestion: I think QuickStatements supports bot/flood flag so put the flood flag on the edits made by the tool. Your manual edits won't be able to flood recent changes that much anyways. ;-) -- Bene* talk 21:33, 25 June 2015 (UTC)
