Merging items edit

Hallo Benoit Soubeyran,

When you are merging items, please use the Merge.js gadget. It helps you nominating, gives the option to always keep the lower number (which is older, so preferable) and makes it a lot easier for the admins to process the requests.

With regards,

Notability edit

Hello Mazuritz, I am afraid that you have missed in the statemenst made at Wikidata:Notability on valid sitelinks. It states that links to the File namespace (e.g. File: and Fichier:) are not valid. Therefore I will have to delete a couple of your items as not meeting the notability createria. Kind regards, Lymantria (talk) 17:28, 8 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

QuickStatements edit

Bonjour,

Q27704306
LAST	P373	"November 2016 in France"

LAST ne fonctionne qu'après CREATE. Il faut faire directement :

Q27704306	P373	"November 2016 in France"

Q27704306	Scommonswiki	Category:November 2016 in France

Cdlt, VIGNERON (talk) 14:27, 16 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

@VIGNERON:.

Ho messo come centro Aosta.

Cdlt, VIGNERON (talk) 17:01, 12 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Mazuritz (talk) 05:56, 3 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Call for participation in a task-based online experiment edit

Dear Benoit Soubeyran,

I hope you are doing good,

I am Kholoud, a researcher at King's College London, and I work on a project as part of my PhD research, in which I have developed a personalised recommender system that suggests Wikidata items for the editors based on their past edits. I am collaborating on this project with Elena Simperl and Miaojing Shi.

I am inviting you to a task-based study that will ask you to provide your judgments about the relevance of the items suggested by our system based on your previous edits.

Participation is completely voluntary, and your cooperation will enable us to evaluate the accuracy of the recommender system in suggesting relevant items to you. We will analyse the results anonymised, and they will be published to a research venue.

The study will start in late January 2022 or early February 2022, and it should take no more than 30 minutes.

If you agree to participate in this study, please either contact me at kholoud.alghamdi@kcl.ac.uk or use this form https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSees9WzFXR0Vl3mHLkZCaByeFHRrBy51kBca53euq9nt3XWog/viewform?usp=sf_link

I will contact you with the link to start the study.

For more information about the study, please read this post: https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/User:Kholoudsaa

In case you have further questions or require more information, don't hesitate to contact me through my mentioned email.

Thank you for considering taking part in this research.

Regards

Problem with Wikidata related userbox edit

If you see at the bottom of User:Benoit Soubeyran, there are auto-generated categories "Soubeyran (surname)" and "Benoit (given name)". These categories clutter our maintenance report at https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Special:WantedCategories

There are probably two solutions: not to use {{Wikidata Infobox|qid=Q40676142}} or to delete given name and family name properties at Q40676142 Estopedist1 (talk) 15:21, 30 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi Estopedist1, so I don't use {{Wikidata Infobox|qid=Q40676142}}. But is there not on Wikidata template like {{user info}} or similars? --Benoit Soubeyran (talk) 15:36, 30 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
Probably {{User info}}. More options here: Category:User templates Estopedist1 (talk) 15:52, 30 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
