Indian independence day data-thon Halfway message edit

Hello,
Thanks for joining the Indian independence day data-thon (15-22 August 2019). We are at the middle point, and three and a half days to go before we end this year's iteration. This year we tried adding a variety of tasks, please see here: Wikidata:WikiProject India/Events/Indian Independence Day 2019. If you have questions, please let us know in the event talk page, or at India noticebaord.

Appreciation/Prizes: We are elated to see your enthusiastic participation. This year we are planning to gift some small token of appreciations (such as Wikidata stickers etc.) to the top-performing contributors during the event. The exact details will be announced after the edit-a-thon. For logistical reason, we may not send these items outside India at this moment.

Thanks once again, and hope to see enthusiastic participation. Regards. -- Data-thon organisers using MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 07:05, 19 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Dear Wikimedian,

The International Mother Language Day 2023 Datathon will start tomorrow (after a few hours at 00:01 am) till 28 February. To contribute please add your name here. We will contribute to Wikidata to add labels, descriptions, Aliases, items or properties and references to the statements.

We have created the outreach dashboard to track the activities. Here is the link.

There will be an online session on Sunday. The session will be for 1:30 hrs. Please block your calendar for 4:00 to 5:30 pm. Jinoy will be there for a training session to introduce basics and the tools like 'TABernacle', 'QS' and 'Mix n Match' that can be used for adding labels and improving the existing WD item for newbies.

Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns at program@cis-india.org. Regards MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 17:02, 20 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
