Simeon P. Shope edit

@Nick Number: coming accross a good quality image with signature, I was wondering if you would consider replacing the existing ones by this one. I created a category on commons. Cheers. Lotje (talk) 15:04, 1 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Lotje Ok, I set it to preferred in Wikidata and put it in the infobox on enwiki. This doesn't require my permission though. Nick Number (talk) 15:47, 1 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. Since you worked on it, I preferred asking. :-) Lotje (talk) 15:49, 1 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. It is a much better image. Nick Number (talk) 16:07, 1 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Military people edit

This image still has people that need Wikidata entries and research Commons:File:Officers_of_Rainbow_Division_in_1919.jpg#Caption if you ever are looking for a project, there are dozens more that the Library of Congress loaded from WWI. RAN (talk) 04:50, 11 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Ok, I'll keep it in mind. I notice that archive.org has a 1917 roster with pics that haven't been uploaded yet. I've added it to my list, but it might be a while before I'm done with West Point yearbooks. Nick Number (talk) 05:25, 11 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
