P31 for non-asteroid minor planets
We today often have "P31:Asteroid" no matter where in the solar system the minor planets can be found, even for TNO's. I thought P31:distant minor planet (Q5282923) could work for trans-main-belt-objects. But then I found this. Do you have any other ideas of how to use P31 for non-asteroid minor planets? From Swedish-speaking point of view "P31:Asteroid" works for all "Trojans", even Neptune Trojans, but I am not sure if it works for other languages. And we also then get trouble with Pseudo-Trojans (i.e. 1:1-resonance, but not real Trojan). From Swedish speaking point of view I do not know if Centaurs can use "P31:Asteroid", I have never seen a Swedish source tell anything about them. I think "P31:Distant minor planet" fits most cases, no matter where they can be found outside the main-belt. Some, of course, have to use both P31:Asteroid and P31:Distant mp, like Hidalgo, but no system is perfect. -- Innocent bystander (talk) 08:55, 4 March 2015 (UTC)
