Re: phab:T304133 edit

I don't have a working Phabricator account or I'd comment there instead, but while you do have to wait on the WD tech team to add the `hoc` code to do it up properly, you can still make lexeme entries in the meantime through a workaround: use the language code `mis` (language without a specific language code (Q22283016)), which you can revise to `mis-x-Q33270` once the item is created (this indicates which as-yet-unsupported language is being used). molnupiravir (Q96376832) edit

Not sure what you wanted to do here, but both statements were invalid. DOI (P356) is for digital publications, not for chemical entities; found in taxon (P703) is for taxons in which specific chemical entity naturally occurs. Wostr (talk) 19:45, 3 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

I was trying a new tool and didn't realize. :( I should have checked and reverted. Psubhashish (talk) 20:53, 3 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi Subhashish,

authority_control.js has sucked in many duplicate IDs. Please fix this!--U. M. Owen (talk) 08:19, 18 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

My bad. I think I've fixed it now but let me know if that's not the case. Psubhashish (talk) 23:11, 18 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Ipsita Mohanty (Q121032662) edit

Hi,

have I merged them correctly?-- U. M. Owen (talk) 23:50, 21 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi, thank you, and yes. :-) Psubhashish (talk) 09:27, 22 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

Q283 edit

Not sure how this item ended up in your batch [1], but it was obviously incorrect. I hope there is no more such issues. Wostr (talk) 20:48, 17 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I am unsure of the same too. It was a large batch of book titles and some of the titles have generic names (such as "ପାଣି" (trans. "water")) or names identical to existing entries (such as a film Q15725220 based on a book Q124606088). I'm checking this discrepancies to revert but probably reverting the whole batch is a better idea. Psubhashish (talk) 20:56, 17 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
https://www.wikidata.org/w/index.php?title=Q198&action=history is also obviously an erroneous change. EasyAsCake (talk) 21:16, 17 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Yes. @Huntster: please note that this too is a mistake and not vandalism. I am really sorry. Psubhashish (talk) 23:15, 17 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Understood, but I'm concerned with a number of the edits you've made, such as Janani (Q15724139) which has changed an instance about a film to a book, as well as so many others where English labels and descriptions have been changed to Odia. Huntster (t @ c) 23:19, 17 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
I know and I am trying to manually revert since reverting the entire batch has not progressed (unless I am doing it wrong). See here: this is my second attempt to revert the entire batch. Psubhashish (talk) 23:29, 17 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
I don't know anything about operating batch edits, unfortunately. However, this has done tremendous damage and it may be necessary to seek out more expert assistance on Wikidata:Project chat or similar. This is why it's so important to perform small batch tests to find problems before committing to such large batches. Huntster (t @ c) 00:05, 18 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Q198 edit

Can you please undo all your changes to war (Q198) which is about the concept of war, not a book Vicarage (talk) 23:04, 17 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi @Vicarage and @EasyAsCake: done. Apologies again. Psubhashish (talk) 23:07, 17 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
