SBI na Mix'n'Match

Avtor orodja Mix'n'Mach je pred kratkim postrgal celotno bazo Slovenske biografije, tako da je olajšano iskanje ekvivalentnih objektov v Wikipodatkih in dodajanje ID-jev. Glej [1]. Orodje nudi več načinov za iskanje in potrjevanje ujemanja, le iskalnik mu dela težave, ker ne prepozna šumnikov, torej je treba za vsakega s šumniki v imenu posebej ugotavljati, če biografija obstaja.

Poskusi se poigrat, jaz sem v par dneh obdelal že prek 160 ujemanj, je pa še veliko dela (skoraj 5500 je vseh). Predlagam, da kot "no wikidata entry" označiš biografijo le, če res preiščeš vse Wikipedije, kjer bi biografija utegnila obstajati, sicer raje izberi "skip". — Yerpo ^Eh? 10:38, 16 November 2015 (UTC)

« John Whiteley » (Q6263856) : to merge 2 items, please use the "Merge" tool (in gadgets)

Hi Romanm,

tonight, trying to update John Whiteley (Q19937801) with death data, I found the item empty, without any link… I finally found that you hadtransferred everything on John Whiteley (Q6263856) to merge the 2 items.

… but you obviously did it manually, which left the empty item behind… which is not very "clean" and can pose problems to users who used this item...

To avoid this next time, please use the specific "Merge" tool (first tool in Gadgets). It will perform all the merge for you... and leave a redirect on the empty item (that you cannot add manually). This is the appropriate way to merge 2 items, without loosing links and information.

Hello, Hsarrazin! I did not do it manually, I merged sl and en article, then moved sl page to shorter name. The only manual procedure that I did on wikidata was that, after the initial sl/en merge, I removed merged sl-year from John Whiteley (Q6263856), as it now had more detailed en-full-date. --Romanm (talk) 19:02, 24 August 2017 (UTC)

if you simple "moved" the sl link to the en item (using the link moving tool), this is what I call "manual merge" ;)

the "Merge" tool is situated in the "More" menu, and you only indicate the QID of the other item you want to be merged... the tool does everything for you, AND makes a redirect..., which was not the case… - if you used the "Merge" tool and it didn't add the redirect, there is a problem that should be notified to the dev team... :/ --Hsarrazin (talk) 19:09, 24 August 2017 (UTC)

Glede St Vitus's Parish Church (Q56182695) in drugih cerkva, ki si jih vnesel danes: če v RKD nič ne piše o razglasitvi, potem je to registered immobile cultural heritage of Slovenia (Q18519893), ne unknown value. "Neznana razglasitev" je poseben tip in posebej označena (glej recimo EŠD 351) - gre za spomenik, razglašen pred 1981, ko še ni bilo delitve na spomenike državnega in lokalnega pomena. — Yerpo ^Eh? 12:31, 19 August 2018 (UTC)

Normativna kontrola

Za dodajanje sem našel orodje, s katerim lahko uvoziš vse, na katere se povezuje VIAF. Dodati ga moraš v common (glej User:Sporti/common.js). Potem se ti levo pojavi gumb Authority Control. --Sporti (talk) 13:06, 4 November 2018 (UTC)

Can you create en:Category:Wars involving Azerbaijan in Slovenian Wikipedia, just like sl:Kategorija:Vojne Armenije? The military histories of Azerbaijan and Armenia are linked.

Osveževanje starosti oseb v infopolju

Roman, opozorili so me, da se starost enciklopedizirane osebe ne osvežuje samodejno (npr. pri Josipu Globevniku stoji 73 let, moralo pa bi 74). Pri Urški Perenič so se prava leta izpisala šele, ko sem datum rojstva še enkrat naložil v Wikipodatke. Gotovo obstaja kak manj trapast način za ažuriranje podatka o starosti, pomagaj prosim. lp, --Hladnikm (talk) 08:56, 7 December 2019 (UTC)

To je bolj vprašanje za Pod lipo. Ne vem zakaj se to dogaja, če bi ugibal, bi rekel, da ima Mediawiki neke predpomnjene strani, kjer se vsi ti dinamični podatki vnaprej preračunajo, da se stran lažje naloži. Ko spremeniš stran v Wikipediji ali v Wikipodatkih, se naračunajo na novo, drugače pa samo vsake toliko. --Romanm (talk) 10:22, 7 December 2019 (UTC)
