Introductory remarks edit
Hello, welcome to Wikidata. As I have been here for a while there are a couple of things I can tell you about it:
- Some datatypes, like numbers and strings, are not yet available, they should come in the next few months.
- Wikidata items do not work work like other Wiki's templates. We can probably use the same "name" property in, say, companies and ships.
- Wikidata notability policy is not yet very stable, and hence I do not know if it will be possible to import all ship info from commons ;).
- As the same properties can be used in so many places, they should have unmabiguous name. For instance, I think the "shipyard" property should be named something like "shipyard of construction".

- @Zolo Please realise that there are no other shipyards categorised than shipyards where a ship has been constructed. Maintenance or repair is parallel business of most shipyards. I don't think we will ever have a Category:Shipyard of maintenance or Category:Shipyard of repair. But perhaps I didn't get the message. --Stunteltje (talk) 09:02, 7 March 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, you may not have got my message, at least I do not fully grasp yours :) Wikidata does not work by categories. The shipyard of construction is certainly the most important, but as Wikidata is very flexible it is possible that we add info about shipyards of maintenance, and possibly other completely different things we have not thought about later on. For instance, it would imaginable that someone mistakenly uses the property "shipyard" in the page about Hamburg to list all shipyards that used to be located there. --Zolo (talk) 09:55, 7 March 2013 (UTC)

Hello.
Can you translate and upload simple:National Archive Department of Azerbaijan and « Category:Archives in Azerbaijan » (Q22029602) in Dutch Wikipedia for that article and for nl:Nationale Bibliotheek van Azerbeidzjan (which is the national archive repository)?
