You/your bot got Billboard artist ID wrong for Casino Q2223393 and Q5048839 edit

Hi! I'm not much of a Wikidata user but in trying to find the Icelandic band "Casino" I noticed the confusion between the two British bands Casino Q2223393 and Casino Q5048839. When I started to edit the former I noticed that some of its identifiers are wrong because they're a third or fourth band also called "Casino." Specifically in February 2019 you gave Casino Q2223393, a band which was only active for one album in 1992, the Billboard artist ID https://www.billboard.com/music/casino , but that's clearly wrong. The Billboard "Casino" page lists only a song in 2014, so it must be for a fifth or sixth band, the rapper "Casino". You also gave Casino Q5048839 the same Billboard artist ID, and Wikidata correctly warns "distinct values constraint This property's value should not be present on any other item, but is also present on Casino."

I removed the incorrect identifier from both Casino entities. I wonder if this is a bug in your work/bot. Since band names are far from unique, adding the same identifier to two different band entities indicates one of them must be wrong; and since there are so many duplicate band names, neither may be correct. Cheers! -- Skierpage (talk) 08:07, 27 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

category for files created with program (P7861) edit

Hello! Short question: How do I add it? Neither eg. "Category:Created with GIMP" nor "Created with GIMP" seems to work. It tells me "No match was found" in a red box --D-Kuru (talk) 19:39, 22 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

I have already created a few items for categories. Does the description of eg. Category:Created with Blender (Q83438213) get filled by a bot or do I have to enter in every description "Wikimedia Category" myself? --D-Kuru (talk) 19:21, 26 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Property:P8141 edit

Hello dear Tinker Bell,

Would you be kind enough to complement the new properties that you create. If you don't want to do that, at least the properties have to work according to their proposal (i.e. Formatter URL), please. Here are the steps to create a property. Cordially. —Eihel (talk) 07:59, 22 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Can you explain this edit? This does not seem to make any sense at all. Best --Hannes Röst (talk) 21:19, 29 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Open discussion edit

Hi TinkerBell,

At [1], you opposed a proposal as you thought some points needed (further) discussion. I tried to address these with [2]. Can you respond to it or withdraw your opposition? Thanks. --- Jura 07:27, 22 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your input. I responded at [3]. I actually think the proposal is an improvement over the same aspect of ElanHR's . --- Jura 12:59, 30 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, I had to travel and I wasn't able to connect to Internet. I'll reply in a moment. --Tinker Bell 20:13, 1 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Debian source package (P9128) edit

Hi TinkerBell, and thank you! Do you have a problem with the formatter URL: https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/$1 ? The end result should be a link. Genium. 23:30, Feb 7, 2021 (UTC+01:00)

I wonder if it was my mistake to set "Allowed values=text". It doesn't work all the time for this one. It has a strange behavior. Could you please try to unset "Allowed values=text". Thanks again. Genium. 11:53, Feb 8, 2021 (UTC+01:00)
It was my mistake, for an example of "Allowed values", please see https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:Property_proposal/Archive/32#P1988 Genium. 12:10, Feb 8, 2021 (UTC+01:00)
Hello Genium   The links on the identifiers are available after 12 to 48 hours. Cordially. —Eihel (talk) 21:19, 8 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

first family name in Portuguese name edit

Hi, Tinker Bell! ㋡
I am Brazilian, my native language is Portuguese. I made changes to the property you created, but there are some changes that I don't know how to do. "first family name in Portuguese name (P9139)" doesn't automatically add the surname category on Commons, for example.
And also the "sequence" with which they are presented in the database:

  • instance of
  • image
  • sex or gender
  • country of citizenship
  • birth name
  • given name
  • family name
  • [everything else]
  • [and much more]
  • [more stuff]
  • "first family name in Portuguese name"

I don't know how to fix this. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Minerva97 (talk) 02:18, 20 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thank you! I'm gonna try to fix it there. =D Minerva97 (talk) 13:03, 20 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi Tinker Bell. Thanks for creating DPI for original size (P10300). If you click create on the second one, I could complete it myself. --- Jura 17:44, 31 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Susanita edit

Hello Tinker Bell! What "Susanita" is this: Q65289552? First, the item was named "Gigaflop"; now, "Susanita"… What do you think about it? Yours, --Geogast 🤲 (talk) 14:09, 1 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

I mean… it is not Susanita from Mafalda… Geogast 🤲 (talk) 14:11, 1 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

date range item edit

Can you provide citations for the date range item. Where is this object described or defined on the internet? Iamcarbon (talk) 22:34, 22 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

You were the creator of this object, but it's origin has no citations or external definitions / url references. I have the need to add a similar type that may overlap, but want to make sure we're describing the same thing.

Many thanks!

Interwiki link bot for WikiKids edit

Hi Tinker Bell, I heard from Astirmays that you are the bot operator who created the interwiki link bot for Vikidia. WikiKids is planning to work more closely with Vikidia and for that we would actually like to have such a bot as well. Would you perhaps like to create this bot or explain how to do this? Kind regards, S. Perquin (talk) 15:58, 30 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
