Building Wikidata for the aviation community, including aircraft of all types, operators, manufacturers, airports, and aerial systems.

Scope edit

Aerodromes: Airfields, airports, air bases and other surface infrastructure supporting flight activities
Aircraft: Families, models, and individual aircraft
Operators: Organizations private and public which operate aircraft
Industry: Manufacturers, designers and other entities involved in the development and production of aviation equipment
Systems: Engines, aircraft components, navigation and air traffic control systems, administrative and other elements of aviation beyond those listed above

Goals edit

Inclusion of all notable items within scope
Development and documentation of appropriate properties
Development and use of bots and other tools to monitor accurate use of properties in statements
Update entries as needed to reflect current developments
Connect with other aviation related Wiki projects and develop an inter-language Wikidata user knowledge and expertise base
