Flooder flag request

I would like to request a flooder flag on my own account for adding published in (P1433) to several thousand items about journal articles. (In the long run I wish to create a bot account but this flood flag will do for now.) Harej (talk) 18:22, 6 November 2016 (UTC)

I would like to amend this request to include adding cites work (P2860) statements to journal article items. In both cases, the data comes from the authoritative resources PubMed and PubMed Central. Harej (talk) 02:17, 7 November 2016 (UTC)

Done, please do not forget to remove the flag once the task has been completed.--Ymblanter (talk) 09:17, 7 November 2016 (UTC)
Thank you Ymblanter. For future reference, if I want the flag for a different (albeit related) purpose, do I need to re-apply? Harej (talk) 13:38, 7 November 2016 (UTC)
Yes, only bureaucrats can grant the flag, but pretty much everyone can remove it from themselves.--Ymblanter (talk) 16:55, 7 November 2016 (UTC)

Request for flooder flag

Hereby I request a flooder flag to reduce the oversighting work in the recent changes. Permanent task: Import of sports (badminton) data. --Florentyna (talk) 08:58, 9 November 2016 (UTC)

The flooder task is not designed for permanent tasks. Perhaps you should consider a bot flag instead. Kind regards, --Vogone (talk) 14:07, 9 November 2016 (UTC)

Request for BOT flag

Hereby I request a bot flag to reduce the oversighting work in the recent changes. Permanent task: Import of sports (badminton) data (see bove) and internationalisation of these data. --Florentyna (talk) 15:03, 11 November 2016 (UTC)

Please add a request here: Wikidata:Requests for permissions/Bot (and make several test edits). After a proper community discussion one of us will take the decision and grant or not grant the flag.--Ymblanter (talk) 16:47, 11 November 2016 (UTC)
