@Vincent cloutier: Some editions like that are incorrect because they add the code of a language in the element of one of its dialects. The code should only go to the element of the language.--Foguera (talk) 06:41, 18 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@FogueraC: hum... I'm importing data from the french wiki and I didn't realise how messy it was... Should I revert the batch or do you think I can fix the problems by hand? I can probably make a SPARQL query to find all instances of dialects with duplicated language codes and fix those. Did you notice anything else? --Vincent cloutier (talk) 15:11, 18 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@FogueraC: I made the query: https://w.wiki/6Dm . It's 19 elements that have this problem, I'm going to fix those today. --Vincent cloutier (talk) 15:20, 18 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Vincent cloutier: I added the other two ISO codes in the query: https://w.wiki/6Dt. Then, there are 62 elements with the problem. --Foguera (talk) 16:21, 18 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@FogueraC: I fixed all the problems I caused (including in the French wiki), there is a few duplicates in languages I don't speak as well, but I didn't create those and I'm going to leave them as is so not to make them worse. This was a useful exercise, I managed to find a lot of duplicated qid that have now been merged. Thanks for highlighting those problems, I'm going to design around those before I continue my project. --Vincent cloutier (talk) 02:50, 19 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, good job! --Foguera (talk) 06:24, 19 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Vincent cloutier: Could you comment this edit, please? You added code of language from Chad (Africa) to item about language from Panamá (Amercia). 217.117.125.83 10:42, 12 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
