Project Goal edit
- The Project Goal is to introduce participant to wikidata and its sister project through a virtual workshop and edit-a-thon and also celebrate the milestone of wikidata.
- By the end of the project, participants are able to make entries to wikidata and also contribute to wikipwdia and it sister project.
- By the end of the project, participants are able to make queries using sparql query.

1. Are you doing one editathon or training or a series of editathons or trainings? Tell us how you'll carry out your project. Be sure to answer the following questions: The project would be held by Open Foundation West Africa. There would be a two day series of training involving capacity building and awareness creation.
Activity List
- Day 1 we would have an introduction to wikidata and how it can be sycned into wikimedia project.
- Day 2: Introduction to sparql query and edit-a-thon.
Number of Participant
- We are looking at fifty (50) or more participants for the event and looking forward to retaining them after training.

- Would communicate to the community through social media like whatsapp, telegram, and also emails
3. Do you have experienced Wikimedia editors to lead the event?
- Yes we do have experienced wikimedia editors for this project on wikidata
4. Do participants have the equipment or skills needed to participate and contribute to high quality content? If not, how will you support them?
- No they are not having enough skills so the team would train and building their capacity on wikidata and its sister project.
5. How will you engage participants after the event(s)?
- Participants of the event would be engaged on social media and emails after the training.
