Motivation edit

The Alexander Turnbull Library (Q61604271) is part of the National Library of New Zealand (Q390375), and maintains a continually-growing authority file of names of people, families, and organisations indexing items in the unpublished collections; relevant to any New Zealand topics in Wikidata. These name records comply with the international standard Encoded Archival Context (Q390394). They are keen to start with a list of person names in Mix'n'Match. I see your point, but the thesaurus is more of a list of concepts, and the catalogue is identifying specific items in the collection, so I think they're doing different jobs and would need different properties.
